Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Elizabeth Minutemen (Elizabeth, NJ) and the visiting Union Farmers (Union, NJ), saw Elizabeth's basketball squad hold off Union by a tally of 42-40.

With the victory, Elizabeth improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 5-5.
