New York High School Basketball - Sherman trounces Brocton
January 17, 2023: Sherman, NY 14781 The Sherman Wildcats (Sherman, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Brocton Bulldogs (Brocton, NY), 58-32 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wildcats (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Maple Grove (Bemus Point, NY). The Red Dragons go into the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II West test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Maple Grove was trounced by Westfield (Westfield, NY), 60-45, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Clymer Central for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II West test on Friday, January 20. Brocton will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 65-54 league win over Westfield (Westfield, NY). The Pirates record now stands at 9-2.
