Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Laurel ripped by Northgate
January 17, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15202 The Northgate Flames basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Laurel Spartan to 40 in the Flames league triumph on Tuesday.
The Flames now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverview for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Northgate will battle a Raiders team coming off a 79-65 league loss to Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 10-6.
The Spartan (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Union Area (New Castle, PA). The Scotties enter the non-league contest with a 13-0 record. In their last contest, Union Area triumphed over Avella (Avella, PA), 83-34, in a league contest.
