Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Laurel falls to South Side
January 31, 2023: Hookstown, PA 15050 In Tuesday's league game, the host South Side Rams basketball team scored a good 55-45 triumph over the Laurel Spartan.
In their next game, the Rams face the Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 1 game, on Friday, February 3. South Side will attempt to move on its 6-12 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 11-5 record after their 73-67 league loss to Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA).
With the defeat, Laurel moves to 4-12 on the year. The Spartan travel to Moniteau (West Sunbury, PA) to face the Warriors in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 1. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 7-7. Moniteau lost 53-37 in their recent league game against Keystone (Knox, PA)
