The South Rowan Raiders basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Carson Cougars to 34 in the Raiders league victory on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Cabarrus for a 3A Conference 48 contest on Friday, January 20. South Rowan will battle a Trojans team coming off a 47-43 league win over Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 9-5.

The Cougars (2-15) will now prepare for their contest against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons come into the 3A Conference 48 contest with a 14-0 record.
