North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Cabarrus tops South Rowan

December 9, 2022: China Grove, NC 28023

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) and the host South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), saw Northwest Cabarrus's basketball squad knock off South Rowan by a count of 54-36.

With the victory, Northwest Cabarrus upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to play the Vikings in a 3A Conference 48 challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Central Cabarrus won 54-36 in their recent league challenge against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC)

Next up, the Raiders play the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a 3A Conference 48 challenge, on Friday, December 16. South Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 73-13 league win over Carson (China Grove, NC).
