North Carolina High School Basketball - Butler succumbs to Independence

January 19, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28227

The Independence Patriots topped the visiting Butler Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 52-41 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a 4A Southwestern game, on Tuesday, January 30. Independence will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record.

With the defeat, Butler moves to 10-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host Garinger (Charlotte, NC) to face the Wildcats in a 4A Southwestern game on Friday, January 26. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 1-14.
