The Gretna Dragons basketball team (Gretna, NE), was nudged 51-47 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE)

The Eagles now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellevue West for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 3. Omaha Central will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 80-60 non-league win over Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 9-1.

The Dragons (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln North Star (Lincoln, NE). The Navigators come into the A District TBD battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Lincoln North Star edged Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE), 70-57, in a league battle.
