Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE) and the visiting Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE), saw Gretna's basketball squad hold off Omaha Central by a count of 64-59.

With the victory, Gretna upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Bryan (Omaha, NE) to play the Bears in a A District TBD challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Bryan won 61-55 in their recent league challenge against Benson (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Eagles play the Fremont Tigers (Fremont, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Omaha Central will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record.
