Virginia High School Basketball - Albemarle winner over Charlottesville
January 20, 2023: Charlottesville, VA 22901 In Friday's league outing, the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) basketball squad felled the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), by a margin of 71-58.
The Patriots (14-2) will now prepare for their outing against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos go into the Jefferson outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, Fluvanna County thwarted Orange County (Orange, VA), 70-69, in a league outing.
The Black Knights now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Goochland for a Jefferson outing on Tuesday, January 24. Charlottesville will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 78-63 league loss to Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-14.
