Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR) and the visiting Little Rock Southwest Gryphons (Little Rock, AR), saw Jonesboro's basketball squad wallop Little Rock Southwest by a tally of 59-33.

With the victory, Jonesboro improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Hurricane travel to Marion (Marion, AR) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 16-5. Marion won 67-49 in their recent league challenge against Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR)
