Arkansas High School Basketball - Jonesboro tops Conway
January 24, 2023: Conway, AR 72034 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR) and the host Conway Wampus Cats (Conway, AR), saw Jonesboro's basketball squad knock off Conway by a tally of 62-45.
With the victory, Jonesboro improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Hurricane travel to Central (Little Rock, AR) to play the Tigers in a 6A Central challenge on Friday, January 27. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 19-3. Central won 71-39 in their recent league challenge against Little Rock Southwest (Little Rock, AR)
Next up, the Wampus Cats play the Bryant Hornets (Bryant, AR) in a 6A Central challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Conway will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 64-57 league loss to North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR).
