The Rincon/University Rangers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Buena Colts to 48 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Rangers now possess a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Tucson High Magnet School for a 6A South game on Tuesday, January 21. Rincon/University will confront a Badgers team coming off a 49-44 non-league loss to Highland (Gilbert, AZ). The Badgers record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Buena falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Flowing Wells (Tucson, AZ) to confront the Caballeros in a 5A Southern game on Tuesday, January 21. The Caballeros go into the game with a record of 14-5. Flowing Wells lost 53-31 in their recent non-league game against Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ)
