In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Rincon/University Rangers basketball team scored a good 50-36 triumph over the Mountain View Mountain Lions.

The Rangers (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ). The Falcons go into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Catalina Foothills topped Nogales (Nogales, AZ), 57-50, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mountain Lions battle the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9.
