The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) and the host Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ), observed Mica Mountain's basketball team knock off Ironwood Ridge by a score of 73-60.

The Thunderbolts (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ). The Cougars come into the 4A Kino challenge with a 17-2 record. In their last challenge, Sahuaro was knocked off by Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ), 63-62, in a league challenge.
