Georgia High School Basketball - Berrien knocks off Bacon County
In Tuesday's league contest, the host Berrien Rebels basketball team scored a good 63-54 win over the Bacon County Raiders.
The Rebels (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA). The Herons come into the A D1 Region 1 contest with a 8-11 record. In their last match, Brantley County lost by Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA), 46-30, in a league match.
The Raiders now own a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fitzgerald for a A D1 Region 1 match on Friday, January 30. Bacon County will face a Purple Hurricane squad coming off a 95-90 league win over Worth County (Sylvester, GA). The Purple Hurricane record now stands at 14-4.
