Virginia High School Basketball - Lord Botetourt can't hold off Fleming
January 30, 2024: Roanoke, VA 24017 The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers basketball team (Daleville, VA), was nudged 76-69 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA)
The Colonels now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin County for a Blue Ridge battle on Friday, February 2. Fleming will battle a Eagles team coming off a 63-56 non-league loss to Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-14.
The Cavaliers (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings come into the Blue Ridge battle with a 16-3 record. In their last battle, Northside edged Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 93-47, in a league battle.
