The Piedmont Panthers volleyball squad (Monroe, NC), dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's league contest with the visiting Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC)

The Spartans (17-11) will now prepare for their contest against Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Mavericks enter the Southern Carolina 6A/7A contest with a 23-2 record. In their last contest, Marvin Ridge notched a victory over Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
