Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) and the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), saw Piedmont's volleyball squad achieve victory over Porter Ridge by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Piedmont improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Parkwood (Monroe, NC) to encounter the Wolf Pack in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. The Wolf Pack go into the test with a record of 7-3. Parkwood lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Anson (Wadesboro, NC)

The Pirates now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marvin Ridge for a Southern Carolina 6A/7A test on Thursday, September 4. Porter Ridge will encounter a Mavericks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 10-0.
