September 18, 2025: Waxhaw, NC 28173 The Cuthbertson Cavaliers topped the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 22. Cuthbertson will attempt to advance on its 12-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the game with a 11-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC).
The Pirates (4-12) will now prepare for their game against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars go into the Southern Carolina 6A/7A game with a 5-13 record. In their last outing, Charlotte Catholic was topped by Weddington (Matthews, NC), 3-0, in a league outing.
