The Sun Valley Spartans prevailed the host Porter Ridge Pirates volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Coming up next, the Spartans clash with the Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 18. Sun Valley will attempt to better on its 11-10 season record. The Lancers come into the outing with a 9-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC).

With the loss, Porter Ridge drops to 4-10 on the year. The Pirates travel to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 17. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 13-6. East Mecklenburg won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Independence (Charlotte, NC)
