Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV), 2-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Tolsia Rebels (Fort Gay, WV) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 8. Hoover will attempt to advance on its 17-10 season record. The Rebels come into the match with a 10-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Fairview (Ashland, KY).
