Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) and the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), saw West Cabarrus's basketball squad overcome South Mecklenburg by a tally of 54-38.

With the victory, West Cabarrus improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Olympic (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Olympic won 52-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Covenant Day (Matthews, NC)

Next up, the Sabres confront the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 28. South Mecklenburg will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
