In Friday's league match, the host South Mecklenburg Sabres basketball team scored a decisive 61-35 triumph over the Palisades Pumas.

In their next game, the Sabres meet the United Faith Christian Academy Falcons (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 16.
