The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC) and the visiting Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC), observed KIPP Pride's basketball team overcome Southeast Halifax by a margin of 83-71.

The Pride (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Northampton County (Gaston, NC). The Jaguars come into the 1A Tar Roanoke challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Northampton County dropped by Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC), 74-72, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets (Roanoke Rapids, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 5. Southeast Halifax will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
