Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Omaha Westside Warriors (Omaha, NE) and the visiting Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE), saw Omaha Westside's basketball squad hold off Gretna by a tally of 77-74.

With the victory, Omaha Westside improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Kearney (Kearney, NE) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Kearney won 73-38 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE)

Next up, the Dragons confront the Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Gretna will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
