In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Monroe Redhawks (Monroe, NC), by a count of 59-36.

The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 2-7 record. In their last outing, Providence was crushed by Butler (Matthews, NC), 66-61, in a league outing.
