Maine High School Basketball - Lee Academy nips Central
December 16, 2023: Lee, ME 04455 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME) and the visiting Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME), saw Lee Academy's basketball squad hold off Central by a tally of 52-46.
With the victory, Lee Academy improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Pandas host Schenck (East Millinocket, ME) to play the Wolverines in a D North challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Schenck won 79-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Searsport (Searsport, ME)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) in a C North challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Central will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 50-47 league loss to Piscataquis (Guilford, ME).
