Princeton Panthers (Princeton, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX), 51-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Princeton upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Panthers travel to The Colony (The Colony, TX) to play the Cougars in a 5A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, January 4. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 0-5.

Next up, the Leopards play the Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Lovejoy will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record.
