The Valley Pirates defeated the visiting Pinon Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 45-34 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Pirates clash with the Ganado Hornets (Ganado, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 10. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Hornets come into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 67-60 non-league loss to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM).

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Grand Canyon (Grand Canyon, AZ). The Phantoms come into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Grand Canyon was defeated by Mogollon (Heber, AZ), 55-21, in a league outing.
