The Taft Wildcats tipped the host McFarland Cougars basketball team by a final score of 61-55 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Chavez Titans (Delano, CA) in a South Sequoia game, on Friday, February 3. Taft will attempt to move on its 10-13 season record. The Titans enter the game with a 19-7 record after their 75-39 league win over Wasco (Wasco, CA).
