February 12, 2024: Colorado Springs, CO 80909 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the St. Mary's Pirates (Colorado Springs, CO) and the visiting The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO), saw St. Mary's's basketball squad overcome The Vanguard School by a tally of 45-28.
With the victory, St. Mary's improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Florence (Florence, CO) to play the Huskies in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks challenge on Wednesday, February 14. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 1-17. Florence lost 35-27 in their recent league challenge against La Junta (La Junta, CO)
Next up, the Coursers play the James Irwin Jaguars (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. The Vanguard School will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 65-21 league loss to Buena Vista (Buena Vista, CO).
