February 14, 2025: Anchorage, AK 99508 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK), observed Bettye Davis East Anchorage's basketball team overcome Dimond by a margin of 62-53.
The Thunderbirds (18-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Eagles come into the 4A Cook Inlet challenge with a 8-9 record. In their last challenge, West Anchorage dropped by Nome-Beltz (Nome, AK), 57-53, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lynx battle the Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Dimond will attempt to better on its 10-8 season record.
