The Western Beaver Golden Beavers basketball team (Industry, PA), dropped 67-48 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA)

The Scotties now sport a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Rochester for a WPIAL 1A 1 bout on Tuesday, February 6. Union Area will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 54-40 league win over Carlynton (Carnegie, PA). The Rams record now stands at 13-5.

Next up, the Golden Beavers clash with the Cornell Raiders (Coraopolis, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 1 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Western Beaver will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record.
