The Burns Bulldogs basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Highland Tech Rams to 24 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson for a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont contest on Wednesday, February 21. Burns will battle a Gryphons team coming off a 57-18 league win over Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Gryphons record now stands at 18-3.
