In Tuesday's league outing, the Thomas Jefferson Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), by a count of 43-30.

The Gryphons (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, Pinnacle Classical Academy defeated Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC), 53-10, in a league outing.

The Rams now hold a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Sugar Creek for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 24. Highland Tech will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 36-22 league win over Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-11.
