The Gryphons now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burns for a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont battle on Tuesday, January 9. Thomas Jefferson will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-39 league win over Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-6.

The Rams (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions come into the 1A/2A Southern Piedmont battle with a 3-7 record.
