Texas High School Softball - Dripping Springs bounces Bowie

Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX), 8-3 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Midland Legacy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. Dripping Springs will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 12-3 non-league loss to Eastwood (El Paso, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Bowie falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Austin (Austin, TX) to battle the Maroons in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, March 7. The Maroons enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Austin lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Glenn (Leander, TX)
