Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Akins Eagles (Austin, TX), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 19-4 record. They take the field next when they host Westlake for a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Monday, March 13. Dripping Springs will battle a Chaparrals squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Anderson (Austin, TX). The Chaparrals record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Akins falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Austin (Austin, TX) to battle the Maroons in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Monday, March 13. The Maroons enter the challenge with a record of 4-7. Austin lost 8-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Weimar (Weimar, TX)
