The Bowie Bulldogs (Austin, TX) softball nipped the host Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX), 2-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bulldogs (18-15) will now prepare for their bout against Austin (Austin, TX). The Maroons go into the 6A Region IV District 26 bout with a 9-8 record. In their last bout, Austin got by Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX), 2-1, in a league challenge.

With the loss, Dripping Springs falls to 23-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Johnson (Buda, TX) to battle the Jaguars in a 6A Region IV District 26 challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 13-5. Johnson won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Anderson (Austin, TX)
