In Saturday's league contest, the Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Lake Travis Cavaliers (Austin, TX), by a margin of 8-2.

With the triumph, Dripping Springs moves its record to 26-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Del Valle (Del Valle, TX) to play the Cardinals in a 6A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, April 18. The Cardinals come into the contest with a record of 15-10. Del Valle won 14-4 in their recent league contest against Anderson (Austin, TX)
