The Bard Falcons basketball team (Washington, DC), was nudged 49-44 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting School Without Walls Penguins (Washington, DC)

The Penguins now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a DCSAA AA battle on Friday, February 9. School Without Walls will confront a Roughriders team coming off a 69-65 league win over Banneker (Washington, DC). The Roughriders record now stands at 19-6.

The Falcons (3-22) will now prepare for their battle against Coolidge (Washington, DC). The Colts come into the DCSAA AA battle with a 18-6 record. In their last battle, Coolidge edged School Without Walls (Washington, DC), 58-48, in a non-league battle.
