Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their baseball team beat the visiting Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), 9-5 in a non-league game.

The Pirates (5-2) will now prepare for their game against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions go into the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, North Brunswick was overwhelmed by New Hanover (Wilmington, NC), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
