The North Brunswick Scorpions triumphed over the host Ashley Screaming Eagle baseball squad by a score of 13-4 in Friday's league outing.

Next up, the Scorpions play the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 25. North Brunswick will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.

With the defeat, Ashley drops to 1-9 on the year. The Screaming eagle host New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to play the Wildcats in a Carolina Coast 6A/7A/8A test on Tuesday, March 24. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 5-2. New Hanover won 1-0 in their recent league test against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)
