Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), 11-2 in a league match.

With the triumph, Topsail advances its record to 11-3 on the season. The Pirates host Green Hope (Cary, NC) to battle the Falcons in a non-league game on Friday, April 3. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 5-8. Green Hope won 6-1 in their recent league game against Panther Creek (Cary, NC)

Next, the Screaming Eagle play the Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 3. Ashley will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Capitals go into the game with a 8-3 record after their 10-9 league win over Millbrook (Raleigh, NC).
