The Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) softball the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 5-3 in Monday's league outing.

The Minutemen now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robert C. Byrd for a Big Ten outing on Tuesday, March 25. Lewis County will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 15-1 non-league loss to Doddridge County (West Union, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
