Illinois High School Softball - Mundelein bounces Lake Zurich
April 18, 2023: Lake Zurich, IL 60047 The Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) softball routed the host Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), 12-5 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Mustangs (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Wildcats go into the North Suburban bout with a 10-7 record. In their last bout, Libertyville held off Zion-Benton (Zion, IL), 12-0, in a league bout.
The Bears now possess a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Forest for a North Suburban bout on Wednesday, April 19. Lake Zurich will confront a Scouts squad coming off a 24-0 league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Scouts record now stands at 2-7.
