Illinois High School Softball - Lake Zurich knocked off by Warren Township
May 2, 2023: Lake Zurich, IL 60047 In Tuesday's league contest, the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), by a margin of 15-4.
With the triumph, Warren Township moves its record to 15-6 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Mundelein (Mundelein, IL) to play the Mustangs in a North Suburban contest on Monday, May 8. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 18-3.
In their next game, the Bears play the Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL) in a North Suburban match, on Thursday, May 4. Lake Zurich will attempt to advance on its 3-13 season record. The Zee-Bees go into the match with a 3-10 record after their 8-7 league loss to Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL).
