Illinois High School Softball - Mundelein bounces Lake Zurich
May 15, 2023: Mundelein, IL 60060 Spectators at Monday's league match between the Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) and the visiting Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), witnessed Mundelein's softball squad prevail over Lake Zurich by a count of 10-0.
The Mustangs now sport a 22-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Forest for a North Suburban match on Tuesday, May 16. Mundelein will meet a Scouts squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Scouts record now stands at 4-19.
With the loss, Lake Zurich moves to 7-15 on the season. The Bears travel to Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, May 19. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 14-19.
