The Mustangs now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Colony for a non-league bout on Friday, August 30. Chugiak will clash with a Knights team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Palmer (Palmer, AK). The Knights record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Bettye Davis East Anchorage drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK) to clash with the Wolverines in a 4A Cook Inlet bout on Tuesday, September 10. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 4-4.
